The results are out!

Harri Jaaskelainen

FSP sponsored its consultant Harri Jaaskelainen last Spring to carry out a major piece of research across the UK.

The purpose of it was to provide the primary research element for Harri’s MBA dissertation in which he set out to understand F&B demand better and, in particular, what drives that demand.

The reason for choosing the topic was to bring some much needed evidence to what is currently a heavily polarised F&B market in the UK. This includes those operators who are thriving and expanding right the way through to those who are closing units or, worse, have gone bust.

The hard work Harri put in has clearly paid off as he achieved a First (Distinction) from the piece of work that concluded his MBA journey!

On the back of the research data, FSP created MENU, an F&B market segmentation model that shows both operators and landlords where the best F&B development opportunities lie in a given UK location.

Contact Harri if you would like to hear how MENU can be used to help you identify the latent opportunities within the market your retail assets are located in.

Congratulations Harri on the great achievement!
