FSP Graduate Analyst (Retail Property)

Location: Buckinghamshire, HP13
Salary: £21,000 to £24,000
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Start Date: from August 2017

FSP is looking for another high-calibre Graduate to develop their career in the UK’s leading retail business consultancy.

Your primary role will be to take the lead in key research projects for our high-profile clients, delivering the exceptional market insight which forms the core of FSP’s consultancy services. Joining a highly skilled team of analytical, database and market research specialists, you will be a key part of the analyst team, focused on:

Analysing market data and consumer research to report on results
Setting up data outputs in FSP’s in-house databases
Preparing questionnaires and arranging consumer research
Producing catchment and thematic maps using GIS software
Liaising with key client contacts and participating in project delivery presentations
Building and enhancing FSP’s in-house models and databases and developing statistical analysis techniques

We are looking for a highly organised graduate, who has experience of research and analysing data, with strong attention to detail and accuracy, IT literacy (Microsoft Office), good numeracy skills and a keen interest in retail. You must have a degree in a relevant field (i.e. analytical/geographical), and any relevant work experience would be desirable but not essential.

FSP Consultant (Retail Property)

Salary: negotiable - very much dependent on what you can bring to the role
Job Type: Permanent/Full-time
Start Date: Autumn 2017

FSP requires a highly motivated individual with experience within a retail organisation or retail property business, who possesses a sound understanding of retail consultancy and market analysis techniques. Joining the consultancy team, you will lead the delivery of FSP projects, build client relationships and introduce FSP’s services to new clients.

Your primary role will be to develop FSP’s relationship with existing clients, across both the UK and Europe, working with our professional team of analysts to deliver exceptional market insight to our diverse client base. As a consultant, your key responsibilities will be to:

- understand clearly and precisely client requirements and design an appropriate programme of research and consultancy to meet client spec
- work with the Analyst team to carry out research programmes
- draw conclusions and inferences from the research data to support recommended solutions to the specified brief
- present research recommendations effectively to clients
- grow business with current clients and add new clients through direct selling activity

The successful candidate will be able to write clearly and succinctly and present complex ideas in an engaging and understandable way. This varied role demands that you are able to switch between problem solving with colleagues in the office one day to presenting scenarios to clients the next. Based in High Wycombe, Bucks, you are as likely to be in the office as you are to be assessing a shopping centre in Paris, meeting a client in London, attending a conference in Manchester or scoping fieldwork in Aberdeen.
